Essential Equipment (1/3) Introduction
Today’s mountaineering clothing and equipment is highly refined and much lighter than what has been available recently.
Take note that the gears (clothing & equipment) are very expensive, but are worth all the cost because those are for your own safety anyway. You will probably be spending thousands on an expedition, so it is better to acquire all things needed several months in advance so that all will be set prior to the departure.
Gears can be divided into two groups: personal gear & group gear.
